Material Overview

Outdoor electrical infrastructure faces a particularly demanding combination of stresses: continuous operation under solar UV radiation, internal heat from electrical components, monsoon-grade rain, sub-zero winter exposure, and a service life expectation that often exceeds 20 years. PBT/ASA was developed for this application envelope.

 

By combining the stiffness, heat resistance, and chemical stability of PBT with the UV durability of ASA, the resulting alloy is purpose-built for grid infrastructure.
